To honor Marcia Conrad, former Dean of Students, with the 2016 President's Award, Bay Path alumni spanning five decades shared stories from the heart that illustrated the indelible impact that Dean Conrad had on each of their lives. Melissa Mazer Scott '97, Charlene H. Davis Mazer '67, Shannon Cooley '00, Barbara Hitchcock '68, and Christine Lear '85 offered emotional words of gratitude for Dean Conrad's devotion to each student's success and her ongoing care for every Bay Path alumna – each of whom she still knows by name. Dean Marcia Conrad was celebrated not only by a "full house" in Mills Theatre, but by her family as well – including her hus- band Irving, and her granddaughters. BOLD Honorees. Jasmine Matta Naylor '06 G'09 G'10, recipient of the Recent Alumni Award, and Louise McGuire Kursmark '76, co-recipient of the Carpe Diem Award with former roommate Jan LaFountain Melnik '76, are joined by Dr. Carol Leary and Marcia Conrad following the Celebration Lunch. Jasmine was joined by her family, whom she thanked for enabling her to be a BOLD Woman. Jan later made a gift to the BOLD Women's Scholarship in honor of Louise, celebrating her best friend "…for her brilliant advice, laughs-and-love, and for always being there." Members of the class of 1981 gather outside The Annex, now the home of Financial Aid and Business offices, but back then, their beloved residence hall! Alumni marking Reunions from the 10-year milestone to the 75th gathered throughout the day to celebrate, reconnect, tour, marvel, and kick-back. 33
