It was a rousing, noisy Reunion 2016!
Beginning with the cheers of the
onlookers as the annual Carpe Diem
race took to the streets of Longmeadow, to the sounds of the bagpiper who greeted alumni
and led them in the parade of classes, to the rockin' beat at the Desserts for the Decades event
(everyone agreed this was definitely a keeper for future reunions!), alumni celebrated everything
Bay Path in a really big way.
Many tears were shed when Bay Path's beloved Dean of Students, Marcia Conrad, was honored
with the 2016 President's Award at the President's State of the University address. There were
touching testimonials from alumni through the decades to this woman who, for many,
epitomizes Bay Path.
In addition to the President's Award, triple alumna Jasmine Naylor '06 G'09 G'10 was the
recipient of the Recent Alumni Award; and the James McGill '35 Carpe Diem Award went to
the dynamic duo of Jan Melnik '76 and Louise Kursmark '76.
