4 Bay Pathway Winter 2015 Every audience seat was taken by friends and family to watch more than 880 undergraduate and graduate students receive their diplomas at our 117th Commencement on May 10, 2014 in the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA. Not only was the class of 2014 the largest– it was also the last class to graduate under the banner of Bay Path College. #9 BAY PATH HAS LARGEST GRADUATION CLASS. EVER. #8 DO YOU MOOC? (TRANSLATED: MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSE) Over 2,000 people enrolled in Bay Path's first, free MOOC, Advancing Women's Leadership: Own Your Story. Revolving around the Women's Leadership Conference, it was also the first MOOC in the country to be directly tied to a conference. Our own President Leary was the lead instructor and she was joined by seven other outstanding women leaders. Stay tuned for the next one! #7 NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION AWARDS $620,850. In a very competitive process, Bay Path University was selected to receive $620,850 from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The grant will be distributed over five years, starting September 2014, and will support Bay Path's Center of Excellence for Women in Science, our initiatives in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and much-needed scholarships for our science and cybersecurity students.
