Greetings from e American Women's College christina carpenter ' 2 3 Christina Carpenter is a working, single mother enrolled in e American Women's College (TAWC) at Bay Path. A resident of Charlton, Massachusetts, she is pursuing a degree in elementary education. Carpenter is a member of Bay Path's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) subcommittee for students, as well as the Online Society of Diversity and Cultural Awareness (OSDCA), a TAWC coalition of students who discuss diversity and cultural topics on an online platform. Her goal is to be a teacher who will use her degree to make a significant impact in the education community, including such imperatives as changing the narrative around education's "place" in the process of creating innovative and culturally responsible technology in the classroom. Greetings from the Graduate School nikki burnett ' 1 8 g ' 2 1 , g ' 2 4 Nikki Burnett earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bay Path: a bachelor of science in leadership and organizational studies and a master of science in leadership and negotiation. Currently, she is enrolled in Bay Path's higher education leadership and organizational studies doctoral program. Burnett serves as the Executive Director at Educare Springfield. She also sits on national committees for the Educare Learning Network, Educare Policy Work Group, and the Collaborative Fundraising Advisory Board, as well as the Red Nose Day Advisory Board. Burnett is a Trustee for the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and sits on the Distribution Committee as co-chair, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion subcommittee and the Executive Committee. Most recently, Nikki was appointed a Corporator for Monson Savings Bank. Empowering her community, raising awareness, and building equity have been her passion for over 30 years. She is one of the founders of the Faith Based Health Advocates Alliance and previously sat on the Board of the Mason Square Health Task Force. Greetings from the Employees ashley pereira g' 1 9 , g ' 2 1 Ashley Pereira is a senior human resources operations manager in Bay Path's human resources division. In her role, she manages benefits administration, leave management, policy management, and general operations. She is an active member in the Bay Path community, serving on the President's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Council, and as Chair of the Policy Administration Committee. Ms. Pereira is passionate about the arts and is a board member of the Springfield, MA-based Art For the Soul Gallery, where she also serves as the Chair of the Governance Committee. Ms. Pereira is a double degree alumna having earned her master of science in higher education administration and a master's of nonprofit management from Bay Path. She has a bachelor of arts in American Studies from Smith College, an associate of arts in liberal studies from Springfield Technical Community College, and a certificate in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University.
