30 Bay Pathway Winter/Spring 2016 NOTES Class agents are listed below each class year. If no class agent is listed, please send your news to alumni@baypath.edu. Reunion years are indicated. 1939 Nancy, daughter of Ruth Spray Wilcox, says, "Mother is now 95 years old and still speaks very highly of her stay at Bay Path. Her mind is still sharp and she enjoys sharing stories with her children." 1947 Claire Russell James has moved to Loomis Lakeside at Reed's Landing, which has proven to be a nice place to live. However, Claire still misses her home and friends on Cape Cod. She says she has made friends and is trying to always be active. She recommends that seniors have a look at Reed's Landing if they are considering an independent living lifestyle. 1949 Jean Boutwell Genasci and her hus- band, Jim, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on December 9, 2015. Russell Despard is proud of Bay Path and what is being done to help so many students, as she was helped back in 1950 and 1951. She appreciated it so much! She is still loving Daytona Beach and sends her best to the class of 1951. 1952 Cynthia "Cyn" Snow Gardner spent the winter months in Tallahassee with classmate Marguerite "Peg" Planchon Bourgeois and had fun, as always! They went on road trips to Jacksonville, Tampa, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, and made a stop in Lakeland to visit Wes Eustice, former husband of Marilyn Hamilton Eustice. Cynthia says Wes has remarried "a lovely southern gal" named Liz and they enjoyed a nice visit over lunch. All three of them are hanging in there and are trying to "age gracefully!" 1955 Dorothy Masajada Hartland Class Agent 70 Cayenne St., W. Her grand- daughter is now a kindergartener who talks all the time and attends gymnastics once a week. She still gardens on a much smaller scale, belongs to the local fitness center and keeps busy with church activities. The rest of her family is doing well! Gertrude "Trudy" Yazmer Brown has two grandchildren who've graduated from college in the past year. She's also spent much of the year traveling to Israel, South America, Spain, and cruised the Mediterranean. She and her family, all 16 of them, vacationed in Costa Rica. She says that some of her recent adventures were on her "bucket list" and she's enjoying life very much! 1956 60th REUNION % Carolyn Chunglo Zawacki relocated from Wilbraham, MA, to Lincoln Hills, CA. In this 55+ community, activities such as golf and swimming are offered, in addition to two clubhouses and 79 clubs to join.
