Bay Pathway Winter/Spring 2016 14 2015 by the NUMBERS In case you missed it— here are some of the top headlines, events and achievements from the past year. It all adds up! $1,033,850 3,107 That's the dollar amount of major grants that was awarded to Bay Path from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center ($500,000), The Davis Educational Foundation ($233,550) and the National Science Foundation ($300,300). Each year, we take a head count of the number of students enrolled. As of fall 2015, there were 3,107 students in our Residential, One Day, The American Women's College Online, and Graduate Programs— a record number. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation held its first ever US Education Learning Forum focusing on a variety of educational issues including personalized learning. Approximately 200 people, organizational representatives, and leaders attended this invitation-only, prestigious event—including Amanda Gould, Chief of Operational Effectiveness & Student Success, and Dr. Vana Nespor, Chief Learning Officer from Bay Path's The American Women's College Online. 200 BPW_WinterSpring 2016_final_Layout 1 3/24/16 2:45 PM Page 17
