CONTENTS DEDICATION It was with deep sadness in the summer of 2014 that we learned of the passing of our colleague and Bay Path University community member, Daniel Chase. A Senior Writer in the Communications and Public Relations Department, his back- ground was focused on reporting the news and getting to the heart of the story. A member of the Bay Pathway editorial staff, his work is included in this magazine. He worshiped the written word. With pride, he made it known he did not own a television, and preferred to spend his spare time reading a good book, enjoying a finely crafted article, and listening to music from the Renaissance period. We often chided him that he was a part of a select group of people that could read The New Yorker from cover to cover in one week. Curious, inquisitive and always willing to engage in a spirited conversation, his pen is now silent. We will miss him…and we dedicate this issue of the Bay Pathway to his memory. Daniel would be glad. Visit www.baypath.edu for the latest info on upcoming events!
