Marion was Student of the Year in 1942. Barbara Grabon Juszczyk '64 was chosen as the winner of the "Herald Angel" unsung volunteer award by the Catholic Herald. She was nominated by a fellow parishioner at the Basilica of St. Mary in Alexandria, who wrote eloquently about observing the love and care Barbara puts into her work with the parish senior group, especially through the difficult COVID-19 pandemic. Latino Scholarship Fund of Western Massachusetts announced that Lieutenant Maria Segura Pelchar '90 of the Holyoke Fire Department is the recipient of the Carlos Vega Community Champion Award, given to an individual whose actions have benefited the Latino community. Talia Landry '09, a litigation associate at Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury & Murphy, P.C., received the 2021 Ascending Alumni Award on November 5th from Western New England University School of Law. CLASS NOTES 1962 60th Reunion Carolyn Andrews Nagy '62 and her husband Frank have been married for 26 years and celebrated with a trip to a nearby castle.
