The One-Day-A-Week Saturday College, an accelerated degree program for adult women, is launched
on the Longmeadow campus. The first class of over 100 students begins in October of that year.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts authorizes Bay Path to grant graduate
degrees. The Master of Science in Communications and Information
Management (CIM) is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Higher
Education in June, and the first class begins in October.
